QNumis is a shared initiative of Hugo Vanhoudt and Jan Laureys, both numismatists for many years.

QNumis stands for quality in numismatics. The offer of coins, medals, numismatic related material and books has an good quality. The selective collector will find several unexpected rarities or beauties.

However QNumis wants to be much more than just a web-shop to sell coins. It wants to “connect”, to share information and knowledge.

As a passionated numismatist, Hugo Vanhoudt is committed in numismatic organizations, as writer of numismatic articles and books and as collector.

Rewarded by the IAPN with the prize for the best numismatic publication of the year 2016 for his standard work “The coins of the Burgundian, Spanish and Austrian Low Countries and the French and Dutch periods (1434-1830)”, Hugo can be considered to be an authority concerning this specific collectors domain.

As well known collector, Jan Laureys stands for quality and historical documentation. For Jan each coin and especially each medal is an excellent historical document and often considered as a piece of art.
